    sea lettuce

Tangs will eat it all no matter how much you start with. To them it is like an all you can eat salad bar. If you want it to grow try it in a fuge and just use it as an occasional treat for your tangs.

    10 gallon macro sexy shrimp

You need a kreisel setup to raise them but the adults do better with LS,LR and or macros for the breeding tank. The larvae are born at night and are phototrophic so you can attract them with light and catch them with a brineshrimp net.

    10 gallon macro sexy shrimp

If you Google Thor amboinensis breeding you can find some info. Although it is not easy to raise them I do have many years (54) experience in raising things including over 300 species of FW fish and 5 species of seahorses. I am always looking for a new challenge.

    10 gallon macro sexy shrimp

All I know is that they started breeding like crazy since I allowed the aiptasia to grow in this tank. The lone male mated with all four females and they were all carrying eggs. I have seen them go into the aiptasia and take out food from their tenticles. They don't seem to go into the aiptasia...

    10 gallon macro sexy shrimp

I pull out a few at a time and it seems to work for this setup. Actually I left them in so that the sexy shrimp can use them for another food source as they eat slime and bacteria off anemones in the wild.

    10 gallon macro sexy shrimp

I usually feed them once a day as they eat like pigs and I am trying to breed them. As you can see the female in the close up photo is carrying eggs. I top off this tank about twice a week to handle the evaporation.

    Is this really C. prolifera?

My C.prolifera looked like yours when it was in my 55 tall but it seems to love the 10 macro tank with 6.5 watts per gallon lighting. Here's a pic of how it looks now.

    Is this really C. prolifera?

Yes it is C. prolifera. This is a pic of a Caulerpa species with much smaller leaves which I believe is C. brachypus.

    15 tall macro

This tank was set up at the same time as my 10 gallon (pictured in another thread) over 2 years ago. It never had and live stock and became my dumping ground for macro cutting and a big eyesore. I finally decided to clean it out and add some live stock. Of course it will take awhile for the...

    My 10 gallon macro nano

I have never gotten the sargassum because i'm working on a rimless 60 cube project. That has taken all my attension and all of my $$$$. As far as i know Sargassum either is free floating or some varieties attach to rocks I do not know if they can grow in sand. Bruce
