    Stocking list for 120 gallon

Thanks, good advice on the six-line and the coral beauty. My fuge is 35 gal. that has various macros growing well in it. I seeded it a couple of months ago with pods from the fauna kit from Inland Aquatics (seeded the DT as well). Is there anything else I need to do besides just wait? What...

    Stocking list for 120 gallon

My first fish are almost done with QT and I'm searching for the next fish to get. Currently my tank is stocked with 1 Fire Cleaner Shrimp and numerous clean-up crew members, several zoa colonies, some Ricordias and some LPS. In my QT are 7 Blue Green Chromis and a Benggai Cardinal. This is...

It's the only thing water related that I could think of in Spanish and the only things that were in my tank at the time -- just shrimp and water, and yes I realize that I didn't spell either one correctly!

If you build it...They will come... 120 gal. New Build

After setting the tank up, I tested the water every 2 days for the first 2 weeks, then every 4 days for the next two weeks. Every test result was the same: 0 ammonia, 0 nitrites, 0 nitrates, calcium 440, phosphates 0, temp stabilized at 78.4 - 80.1. This was even after adding the deli shrimp...

I need help id'ing something I found on one of my rocks in the middle of a zoa colony. It's really only visable when the polyps surrounding it are closed, but I think I got a good picture of it today. Does anyone have any idea what this is (the one that is ringed in yellow)?

A couple of days after getting the rock in the tank, my husband built a stand for the refugium. The plan was to have it as a display refugium, housing various macros and to grow pods in. I also wanted to put a few of those extra pieces of live rock in there and a deep sand bed. It was...

Within a couple of days these colonies that I thought I saw started to come to life. At first there was only this one... Then, I noticed another, but I wasn't sure what it was... This one was upside down not reaching the light, so I turned it over and it started to open up. I was...

If you build it...They will come... 120 gal. New Build

After a couple of days of heating the saltwater and making sure the new tank was leak free, I was anxious to get all the rock in the water. My last salt tank in the mid-90's was completely decorated with dead corals, barnacles, etc. so this was my first attempt at aquascaping with live rock...

The valve is copper colored plastic. It's kind of a good way to have an emergency drain. Just hook up a garden hose to it and run it outside. It sure beats siphoning or bailing out with buckets.

The same Saturday that my husband brought home the tank, I was browsing through the local club's for sale board and came across someone who was selling 150 lbs. of live rock from his tank that he was tearing down. I called him up needing just 100 lbs. for the 55 gal., but ended up buying it all...

After six months of planning and purchasing, and four weeks of having my tank set up, I figured it was time to document with a build thread and get some feedback. I began purchasing various items off of Craig's List and had a 55 gallon Uniquarium all plumbed, filled with water to checked for...

My name is Christy and I live in San Diego, CA. I got bit by the fish bug again in the middle of last year when a local pet store gave my classroom a full freshwater setup (I'm a teacher). I haven't had a saltwater setup since the mid-nineties and really wanted to give it another shot, this...
