That's when I was putting the sump room together a few years ago. With a few days notice I could have it down. Just two fish and a few corals to move down to the basement.
Working on plans for a new house and with two kids the tanks has been suffering, so I'm downsizing back to the basics for a bit. 180 reef ready with dual corner overflows. Few scratches on the left side but not too noticeable if you keep it clean. 2x6 stand that I never got around to...
Still have a 180, but redoing the floor in the living room and considering putting a 93 cube in the 180's place. I've run a few different 250W SE bulbs on my frag tank over the years and liked the ushio's for growth and xm's as well, but wasn't too sure how different of an animal the DE bulbs...
Looking for input on a new DE bulb. Probably something in the 10K range as I will be doing led's for the blue side of the lighting. Anyone have any they are looking to get rid of so I can see what a few different ones look like before I commit?
Awesome! That was one of my all time favorite pieces and the day an anemone split parked in the middle of my colony I almost chucked the nem out of spite.
I've got a 180 with corner overflows that I will be breaking down soon to go to a 93. 1 noticeable scratch in lower left, but other than that it's in great shape. PM me if you're interested and we can work out a price.
I have a 40 currently setup as a frag tank attached to my main system that I have been contemplating pulling out. 250W single end metal halide and two 36" T5 bulbs for lighting. Center overflow with 2-1" outlets. 1- 3/4 or 1/2" return in back left. Stand is built like a tank and is oak...
Why don't you just replace the pump valve with a decent true union ball valve instead of patching the tank? I'd be more worried about one of the patches failing for some reason than the pump.
