I had the same problem and was trying to figure out how to get an airline outside. Then I read about the Co2 scrubber and built a simply one with some clear PVC and PVC fittings and filled it with the soda lime and it worked perfect. I don't drip kalk and my ph stays above 8.2 now. Rich

I contacted the seller and he said that he is out until of the impellers until next year. Tank is new only 5 months, total volume of 120G, 5 fish. But I have been running for the 5 months with no skimmer at all. I will give it time to see what happens. Rich
