  • Oh man, if your in to reefs you will be out of luck here.. No importation and no wild collecting of, and i quote, Corals and/or rocks with any visible life attached to them. That being said however, i wouldnt invest in a fishing license as they are not really enforced. I think there has only been one or two "enforcements" of the law in the last decade and they both involved collecting in a marine sanctuary. Theres only two petstores in Kona that carry SW and that would be Stockleys and Petco. I recommend stockleys as he has been doing SW for a very long time. There arent a whole lot of species of corals here compared to alot of other places due to the youth of the islands and the isolation. Zoas are pretty easy to find here at least. You can find them at just about any tidepool if you look hard enough. Larger polyps or palys can be found just off shore. Oh man Ive always wanted a peacock... to bad you couldnt just ship them over to you!
