Originally the plan was that if no one else stepped forward I would be the OC pickup spot. Unfortunately the week the pumps got delivered was the same week someone was graduating in another state and I was no longer in CA to facilitate a pickup.
Fortunately though sisterlimonpot delivered...
One of my tanks is 72 gallons and I have the twin wp25 kit from fish street. It has the controller that lets you control two pumps at once. I put them into anti sync mode. So if anything I would get a pair, more flow doesn't usually hurt.
Still no OC pickup place? Originally I said I could do it but things changed next week and I won't be available to have pump pickups.
Pushing the OC pickup to the 18th at the SCRK meeting might be the better way to go.
^ What this guy said, no wood is really safe unless it's drift wood because it's been soaking in water for so long all the chemicals leeched a long time ago into the water. Even driftwood leeches tannins into the water, I've got some in an old freshwater tank and for a few years the water was...
Using vinyl tubing on a barb is worse for a return because it's under pressure. Doing it on a drain isn't under as much pressure. That's not to say that both are safe though, just use hose clamp. (Plastic ones for underwater applications)
You should PM every single person who ordered to let them know they need to add money to get their pumps. Some people may not see this thread. Let's not waste another whole month on our end.
Selling whole setup for $150 OBO, it's a standard 90 gallon AGA tank, sump is I think 50 gallons. Also comes with skimmer. It's a nautilus skimmer and requires a 650-900 gph pump. Pump is not included. Pickup is in Tustin.
