i tested my tank tonight:
I bought an auto doser a months or two ago and have it hooked up to dose the Kent CB 2 part. Before the auto doser I didnt have this issue.
Any ideas on how mag can get so high? And i honestly dont think its a bad test...
I switch salt from Oceanic to reef crystals every bucket. I have found no issues what-so-ever in doing so.
If anything, the diverse trace elements would be benefical.
Dont believe everythingone person tells you :)
its fine. nothing will be harmed.
I normally skip a day of dosing after a water change. just have him cut down the dosing a 1/2 cap full or whatever.
Check cal, but only thing you can do is just stop dosing for 2 days. and reduce dosing amount
I have a Octopus NW 150. its been running awesome for almost a year now.
I started dosing VC a little too fast and it cause a bacteria outbreak with cloudy water and all corals closing up.
This was 2 days ago. Everything seems fine now since i did a water change and stopped dosing. I set my...
tough call. id pull the rocks and dry them out.
Try to get a fellow reefer in the area to sell you a rock to seed. Dont mess with aptasia man, its better to take swift action now then be screwed later when you add corals.
Im up to one table spoon 2x/day (13.3g - 35ppm) in my 100g with zoa pox. The pallys have opened up like crazy and other corals show a small difference. My RTBA likes it the most. he's extending massively during the day.
I plan on getting it to 100ppm like puffer suggested.
yeah i treat all that have it. it would be impossible for me to treat all of them even if they didnt have it.
I guess im screwed. my VC dosing does not seem to be helping. but i am soon switching to the powder. i currently use kent marine C liquid. its my hail mary pass.
