    Leave it go for awhile and export as much as you can. let it cycle on thru. otherwise you just be constantly fighting it. All kinds of things need to balance in a tank besides beneficial bacteria. It takes awhile. I assume you got other tanks with a join date of 10 years ago.

    Reduce lights for 3 days, Harvest what you can and get it out of the tank. Red bugs gone? Did this cause your bloom? Find cause of symptom if you can, otherwise, deal with it. Check light bulbs for age? I dunno, what else sounds good? Up on water changes? Got some GFO going? 1st time with algae...
