Ok, so not something I've ever used, or would ever use. Sold some fish to a champ today with a 5x3x3 system. And was whinging he cant get his water clear or any corals to grow. Was parping on about running 5x hydra pumps. Had a google amd they look a bit basic

Well, the downsize was of officially started today, swapped my lieutenant tang and fox faced rabbit fish for a fluval 94L nano. . Away this weekend but will start it up next week. Cleaned it all up today. Came with twin compact T5's and led's in the hood. Thats coming off an ill be using one...
Found another coral killing culprit... Been in bed or hosp for last month so not noticed my light settings, was changing them today and thw whites and blues had been at 100% for 3 hours every lunchtime. Doubt that helped as usually run blues at 75 and whites at 40 at their highest. Bah!

Ah i see what you mean. Yeah going to have a look at them. And put a rowmof connectors on so the tips can be changed easily and often without hastle.

Its not definitely going. Had some interest but not loads. If it goes great, if not also great haha. Got a wedding to pay for next year too. Ouch!

Well not much going on here. Tanks not had a great coupla months. Got a puppy (ended up getting ot a lot sooner than expected) and the tank took a major back seat. Then ended up in a&e on 30th dec and been off work since. Had a few big kidney stones removed, had a stent put in between...
Small update... Nothing new really.losy my 2yr old sand sifting star fish :(
Fairly sure my big nem is about to split again. Had to move my stylo as the smaller nem is growing at a ridiculous rate. Fish are all happy. Will be getting some new corals in 2 weeks after working away for a bit...
Ahh feel bad having had it now. He's dont a very good job of turning the sand till now. The poor chap is dead. Picked it up nd it literally fell apart. Will stick with sand sifting snails from now on.

Had my star about 18 months. Always been happy. This morn its just come up nd moved to re bury its self and 2 legs have gone... Nothing on the tank woukd usually eat a star.... Any ideas?

Agree with the above post. Feed heavily and do frequently water changes. I assume your UV is all. Working ok? I treated my tank (cant remember the bloody name) with something (turned the water a nice fluorescent green) with corals, cuc and fish all in. Turned off uv, skimmer etc and removed...
