    Engineer goby the killer???

I had an engineer goby I raised from 3"s to 16"s when he died & he never bothered anyone/anything, except the sand...lol! I agree w/ everyone else--it's probably the coris wrasse. As much as I love the wrasses, I'll never own another yellow wrasse again. I know they're supposed to be peaceful...

Mods, please close & lock this thread. I've gotten my question answered & don't want this to become another 'tang police' thread. Thx.

Tank is actually 50 gallons, not 55 as I thought...Sorry. Dimensions are 48Lx15Wx16T. With stand/canopy, the whole setup is 58"s tall.

Black trim w/ middle brace. Lights in canopy are on wooden platform that slides out for cleaning, etc. I tried adding more pix to original post but they failed to upload. I can email or text more pix if interested. btw, thanks for the 4ft ATI light a few yrs ago...;)

    Tank size for tangs...

Hi all-- I've been in the hobby for years but never had a tang because my tanks were too small (largest was a 90gal). Now with my recent upgrade to a 120 gal, I'm thinking about adding a tang as the last addition. My dilemma is that the 120 is 4x2x2 & although the gallon ratio is good, I'm not...

can I add an anemone in a 3 month old tank?

Gorgeous nem. Just keep good water chemistries & changes & there's no reason it won't grow & thrive. I'd be more concerned w/ having a Singapore angel in a 32 gal tank. Those require much more room; at least a 120 gallon tank.

    Anemone killed by cleaner shrimp?

+1 on what Davocean said...New tank syndrome is prolly what caused the nem's death. It's suggested to wait 3--6 months before adding any kind of anemone to a new tank due to the fluctuations in water chemistries. Good luck w/ the tank!
