    Soo I did it...just bought a 36G Bowfront. Questions.

Well I'm jumping back in, have been out of the hobby for almost 10 years. Petsmart had a good deal on a 36 Bowfront, and stand for $199. Thinking of going with a Mars Aqua 165 and "the package" from TBS. Other then that not really sure what my plans are. Trying to be lower budget if possible...

Orbit Marine vs Orbit Marine IC

After some research I think you've convinced me. Think the 165 would be good for a 36 bow front? Dimensions in pic.

Orbit Marine vs Orbit Marine IC

They both say 36W, I assume that is total? The IC 72LEDs, and the regular marine has 155. All this LED stuff is new to me, I'm used to PC, and MH lol... Not sure about tank yet, I'm looking at a 36G Bowfront, but not sure.... Here is the page for the Marine -...

Orbit Marine vs Orbit Marine IC

So I've been out of the hobby for probably 10 years, and considering getting back in. Just browsing lights and am a bit confused. I always used Current USA fixtures on previous tanks and was happy with them. I was looking at the Orbit Marine, and the Orbit Marine IC fixtures. Am I missing...

The start of my 20G.... Weekly Updates ....

Ok here goes.... I posted a thread a few months ago about this tank, but I figured I'de start a new one. I have had many tanks over the years, some more successful then others, I know how to take care of them, but I also have A.D.D. lol, and sometimes I'll admit I lose interest or just get lazy...

Getting back in the Hobby! My 20G Build.....

So I haven't posted here in like 2 years, and have been out of the hobby for almost as long. I really wasn't planning on getting back in, but my friend made me an offer I couldn't refuse. :) To make a long story short, I will be going to NJ for a visit next week, and he is GIVING me his 20G...

Help No Power: How long can a fish live in 50 Degree water?

Honestly he is the IT Manager for a large Library network, and was distracted trying to deal with everything else and didn't think about the fish until this morning. I don't know why I didn't think about taking him home, I'll call him and suggest it :) There is a UPS but they have BIG servers...

Help No Power: How long can a fish live in 50 Degree water?

He happens to be in Bergen County too on Main St. I told him to go get an air pump, but he cant get back to the office for a few hours. As for the external heater, where would he plug it in? That would need to be a long extension cord :). Even if he could the room is kinda big, so it would take...

HELP! My Royal Gramma is dying! (I think)

I did the water change a few hours ago, and I think he just might make it! He is still resting on the bottom a little more then usual, but swimming around some, and I just put some food in there, and he darted around like his normal self eating anything he could catch. Will update tomorrow!

HELP! My Royal Gramma is dying! (I think)

Well I haven't done a water change yet, but he seems to be doing better then last night. The Ammonia seems to have gone down a little, but the Nitrite and Nitrate are still the same, which is odd. Maybe I read the Ammonia test wrong last night. Either way there is still some ammonia in there. I...

HELP! My Royal Gramma is dying! (I think)

Yeah I know I should have given him some place to hide, but I've had the rock out for almost a month, and he has been fine. Im testing the water now, but I think I know the problem already: Ammonia is at 1-2 PPM (and thats with a 4G water change on a 10G tank today), other tests pending. I will...
