I tried red slime remover in the past. It does work well initially but I think its just a temporary thing. I wish I could eliminate the problem without doing the red slime treatment but I might have to try it again.
As far as the kalk goes my pH dips down to 7.95 at night and rises to around 8.15 during the day. I think I might also need a new pH probe I have a feeling it might be giving me false readings. I recently calibrated it but I think its still not reading correctly.
