$1 A Gallon Sale - It's On!

This topic came up in another thread but wanted to make it stand out for folks that have been waiting. The Elmhurst Petco (not sure about others) has the $1 a gallon sale going on. Started yesterday and ends on 1/21 according to their add. You can google Elmhurst Pecto and go to Specials, Savings, Deals & Coupons to pull up the add. Grabbed my 40B this morning for a sump build I have planned. There were at least two other 40 Breeders on the floor ready to go. Not sure how many were in the back of the store. Anybody now when the (I think Petland) 1$ sale goes on. I only ask because the last two years they had a promotion with Aqueon filters, if you brought your old hang on back in they would replace it with their model similar to yours. I did it last year and wanted to trade in my penguin bio-filter this year that I forgot about.

dang. Went to Petco yesterday to buy a 5 gallon tank to use as an ATO tank for my 60G cube. Rang up at close to $20 and then I was informed that it's 10 gallon tanks and up!

What a drag. That 5 gallon tank will cost almost double that of a 10 gallon sale. I'd just buy the 10G but I don't have enough room under my 60G cube. No tank for me..
