10,000K or 12,000??

I was going to get a 260 watt light for my 55 gallon aquarium and it comes with 12000k daylight bulbs. Is 10,000k better?

Also what types of corals would i be able to keep?

I didnt know that pc come in 12K. 14K MH are the best looking IMO, so the 12K should be better, as long as u like the bluish look.

I always thought the 6700 was for plants (green life) while the higher in K the better it is for corals?

6700k is best for coral growth but it is by far the ugliest. its a super nice yellow if you like that.

10k would be. What are the bulbs you are getting, i mean what brand?

honestly i wouldn't buy from them. I bought one of their PC's awhile back and it was a piece of junk.
