10 Gallon Tank

I recently purchased a 10 gallon hexagon shaped tank. I am thinking of making it a saltwater tank, any suggestions on what and how many i could put in the tank?

i would get a small goby and a few sexy shrimp (tiny cute shrimp, they kind of dance to), could also have some easier corals, if you had a decent light, like zoos and mushrooms.

Fish selection is limited with a 10g. A small goby and some corals would be nice. Make sure you get a decent light for the corals.

Unfortunately, for us in the three months that we had a ten gallon tank up and running we were not able to keep any fish alive. We went through three maroon clowns before we gave up and got a 20-high. We have had it now for 6 months now with the same 3 clowns since with started it. Hope it works better for you.

wow a maroon in a 10 gallon? did you research at all?what clowns are in ur 20 high?, btw 3 clowns will become 2 when they pair off

We are aware that the two percula's will pair off. In the 20-gal we have 1 no stripe and a pair of percula clown fish. The pair of pecula's are still juveniles. Our intentions with the maroon clown was to keep him, as a juvenile by himself, in the 10-gal tank until our larger tank was set up. We tried several times without success, as previous stated.

Just like others when we first got into the hobby, we thought starting small would be easier, but we found it to be easier to maintain the larger tank. Our corals are much happier in the bigger tank ;)

Yeah, if you added 3 maroon clowns at once, they probably overloaded the tank, producing excess ammonia...
