1000w heater / controller

can you control a aqua medic 1000w titanium heater with a duel stage ranco temp. controller, instead of using there biotherm controller/monitor?

Not sure, but I'd rather use 2x500w than 1x 1000w heater in my tank.

ditto. Much better to have some redundancy in your heaters.

Believe me on the two heaters, especially a 1000 watter, I had a 1000 on my 350 plus system and it stayed on from a bad finnex controller an my temp took off, but I caught it. I now have two 500 watt on two different ranco controllers One is a single and the other controls my chiller and the other 500 w heater
