12 gallon shroom nano

Well, i've decided that i am setting up a 12 gallon nano with exclusively mushrooms. i used water from an existing tank so its ready to go, power compact bulbs right now. The tank is a virgin to any types of additives or anything so now i ask for advice:

how should i do it.
What should i put in the tank for MAX growth.
there will be no fish but there will be a mantis shrimp so very low bio load.
it is treated tap water right now but i will move on to RO with each next water change.
SO give me all your corallimorpharian enlightenment.

Growth takes time no matter what you do, keep your parameters in line if you want healthy growing coral. Only put in the tank what appeals to you.

Tap water is not something you want to use, right now, or ever. seems you been at it for 3 years and have a 55g reef, its way passed time to get the ro/di unit.
