The LR I got from John's store this morning. He let me pick and choose while he opened the new boxes he got this morning. My pictures don't show how great the rock is, but it is top quality stuff. I will post more pictures of the LR later.

One more thing John has a lot of rubble from the LR boxes incase anyone is needing some to frag. He did not say how much he was going to sell it for. Also he got new corals in today. His tank is full to the brim..

Looks good, how 'bout some details on the equipment and how it all works together. What kind of skimmer is that?

Nice tank, glad you got the sump going. What kind of fish are you going to put in it? Just add lights and you can turn it into a reef tank

OK some info about my tank.

The skimmer is an ASM G3

115lbs of live rock

Aquatic Life System Burlin sump

2 RIO Aqua pump/power heads 2100 ( rated @ 375 gph )

Normal lights. Not planning to have corals for a while.

Now comes the long wait for the cycle. It will give me time to think about what live stock I want to put in the tank. My wife wants a hippo tang, and a yellow tang. Anyone have some ideas of what else to add?

I just did a water change. If you want a quicker cycle you can add this aged water to it. Some people also add a raw cocktail shrimp, to jumpstart the cycle. You're also welcomed to a few cups of live sand from my tank.

Wow Xia thanks for the offer. I am working until sunday, so I could not meet up with you until then. I work nights, and sleep during the day. I would not ask you to hold on to your water for that long. I would like to take you up on the sand. I could give you a few cups of mine to replace yours.

I thought the LR I bought today will jump start my cycle. ( with die off ) I also was thinking about the shrimp. Perhaps I will pick up some from the store this weeking. Let me know when you are able to meet. I am off on Sundays, Mondays, and tuesdays. ( Work 12 hour shifts. )
