125 Gallon All in One Design

I have a 125 gallon that I want to turn into an all in one. Tank will be sitting in the corner of a room and the back and one end will be against the wall so I'm thinking I will just use the one end as the false wall. I am really considering a toothless coast to coast style overflow and have an idea or two but I just wanted to see if anyone else had any cool ideas or pics.

I made a 40 breeder into an all in one using 1/4" pvc to make a 4" x 24" filter, heater, algae scrubber / refugium chamber. Then covered it with a diy 3d background.

I've built 2 AIO tanks but not as big. But maynbe this could give you some ideas.

And a smaller tank.

Nice designs. Thanks for the pics. Frust, your first design is something like I have in mind. I have some testing to do on the design as I haven't seen anyone do what I would like. Ill try and post some pics once I get everything sorted out. RatherbeFlyen, that background is awesome!

I have a 20G with 4.5" on one side dedicated as the equipment chamber. The water simply overflows over the black acrylic I have in there. Sometimes one of my clownfish gets in there while they are sleeping at night but it hasn't been too much of a problem. The pump moves water to the other side of the tank through a 3/4" pvc line on the back and this pushes water across the tank and into the overflow again. I also have my top off float switches and heater in that compartment as well. I would definitely make an all in one tank again.

Another thought is that you may want to include teeth into your design to prevent fish from getting into the equipment side. Fishing a clown out of mine is easy but in a 125 with more room it may be pretty difficult and become a pain. Especially if a fish starts to get picked on... they always somehow find their way into the other side.

Thank you, since you seem to like it so much, here's an updated picture.
