Here are some pics from when i first set up my tank.

Here is the tank now. The light is different, it has 14k phoenixs for MH's and I have 720nm and 420nm actnics lights.

what light do you use?I see you are using turbotwist uv sterilizer. Is is OK to the corals and etc?

I have a light unit that is similiar one of the corallife units. It has 2x250 w DE MH w/ the phoenix 14k's. then I use 2x65w 420nm and 2x65 720nm actnic pc lighting. It helps with keeping the water clean. I use a small pump 170 gph and throttle it all the way back to have the water run slow through it. It works alot better since i do that. Also if you have alot of coral it is a good idea to invest in a good protein skimmer. the one i got is a hang on external by deltec, MCE 600.
