Hello everyone,

ive finally got my first marine tank all setup and cycled so im ready to start adding live stock. (its 6x2x2 tank)

Im keen on getting all the fish below, i was just wondering what order i should add them and how long should i wait before adding the next one.

I was thinking the chromis and lionfish could go in first. Followed by the angels, then niger trigger, then butterflys then the tang last.

1x Flame angel
1x Imperator angel
1x Copperband butterfly
1x Raccon butterfly
1x Antennata Lionfish
1x Yellow tang
1x Niger Triger
5x Green chromis

Also, if there anything else i could add? or anyother suggestions?

Im aware that there may be some issues with the chromis and lionfish.

thanks

Michael

what are you planning to keep for corals? Flames are sometimes known for picking at some corals; not always, though. You'd have to keep a close eye on him. Same for the Imperator, I think. If it's a fish only tank, I really don't see any problems. Sometimes fish of the same genus don't get along well, but I think your tank will have enough room to assuage the problem. Good luck!

Another thing; I wouldn't add all the fish at once. That many (even on a tank your size) may be too much bio-load at once. I'd start with the cheaper (and less aggresive) fish, i.e., the chromis, and work up. Say a couple of weeks between. Stay on top of your water tests and make sure the nitrates don't spike too much at once.

Thanks for the replies,

yeh its mainly fish with live rock. I might put some zoos and other 'hardy' corals in later on and see how they go.

Is there anyting i can add to the list? Could anyother tangs go with the yellow? or should i change the yellow to another tang? Im open to ideas

Thanks
