WOW. I was impressed by your handiman skills building the rockwork. Then I got to the lighting... Awesome. But what the heck is a "potentometer"? It sounds like you just made that up. LOL

Think of it like a variable resistor. It's controlling the amperage to the LED's affecting their color.

Cool project! I love the colors of corals under LED's, they really pop!

Too bad they are so hard to photograph but they look awesome.

Sweet Ducati!

Yeah, that used to be my track bike, now converted back to street :mad2:

You can use it to dim the lights. I have 2, one for the whites and one for the blues. That way I can dial a specific color temperature that I like.

looks great so far, great choice on the mp10

I really like it so far, I am really glad I got it. I can already see a major difference in the tank with the flow it provides.

Simply incredible set up! Great job. Keep the pics coming. This is making me want to take down our 29 Bio Cube and start over.

Dave

Thanks, I will take more pictures as soon as I start stocking it up. Just want to wait a bit longer for everything to settle in.

Ha! tha's just the dust from my garage floor, this is how I get rid of my chicken strips

theyammieguy, that is one sweet ride you have in your avatar!

I picked up this little guy- girl? last week. When I got him he didn't have all those eggs on the bottom. He is really cool to watch; especially when I feed he comes out to the front glass and starts mopping it up with his little anemones.

What kinda little critter is that? Seems very wierd, like a crab with nems on it. Very cool, also like the egg-sack she is carrying.

like the rock work!

Thanks!

It's called a Pom-pom Crab and they find their food by moving their anemones across the substrates and rocks in the aquarium and taking whatever they "œmop" up with the anemones. They are really cool to watch, when another crab gets near him he starts waving his anemones around trying to scare them, funny!

sweet tank. keep up the good work

Cool, thanks!

Good Work

Good Work

Hey man I really like the good job you've done on the BioCube. Are gonna post more pictures.

And how did you remove the baffles from the first room?

Thank you

Sadly I'm taking down the BioCube. I am currently transefering the livestock to my new tank, check it out: http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1893104

To remove the baffle I stuck a screw driver down there and pried it out:hammer:

I'm just going to leave the cube up as a quarantine tank now.

Sweet tank, like what you have done with the rock.

Sweet Duck too, here is a shot of me from a few years back

Tanks man, looking good there! I saw another foto of you on a 50cc or 250cc maybe? I also have an Aprilia RS-50 that I love to take to the track, I think I have more fun on that bike than on my Duc :hmm3:

Yeah, it's actually a Moriwaki 80 (Honda RS125 GP frame with cr80 motor). I endurance raced it 2008-09 and it was BY FAR the most fun I have ever had racing. I'm racing a 1990 Honda Hawk this year in classics endurance and it's pretty fun also.
