nah, right handed here. Aquarius' lucky numbers are 6, 8, 13.... at least that's what lands most when I go to the roullette tables @ Atlantic City :D

My 2 liter bottle is almost halfway with nog @ 9 days. I'm saving it for a photo shoot, and I'm trying to gauge how long a Deltec can fill up a 2 liter container so I can slack off more :)

"I saved a lot of time on maintainance by modifying and switching to Deltec" :D

JANUARY 2006
Photoperiod: 6 hours halides (10K XM 250w on Icecaps), 9 hours

Huh? How do you get XM's to run on an icecap? I have one and it will light anything BUT a XM hqi.

Nice tank BTW. :D

Edit:
Also, What species of Angel is that it and is it well-behaved?

Thanks.

I found out about the XM's after I bought the bulbs, but I asked them and they said it had something to do with the older style E-ballasts in conjunction with the DE's.

Apparently, the Icecaps work with XM SE mogul bulbs. Or maybe I had just gotten lucky?

The angel is a regal angelfish, supposedly one of the few angels that are "somewhat" reef safe. My next target fish is the Goldflake angel, but I'm afraid that my tank is too small for two angels. I would of course, have to move some of the fish over to my frag tank which doesn't have much of a bioload anyways, give or take 30-40 frags. The regal's been behaving, I've seen it squeeze between rocks and pick some sponges off the rocks which don't bother me, I'm a stickhead at heart, so if he goes for those, he goes.

Very awsome to see the progress of your reef in 30 seg. what it take to you 2 year !!!

I got almost the same setup, but in its firsts stages

concept3, Any updates?

Any pics of the new 6500K's?

as a matter of fact, yes.

Update on tank: The Cap had gotten to its "breaking point" and I came home last week to find it leaning against the front glass. Luckily, it hadn't fallen sideways and bleached all the other corals next to it, and I already have the BIG one in the middle and the Cap going to a larger tank-

Here's a pic of how the tank looks like with the Cap leaning on the glass and soon to be gone Larger Acro in the middle. This pic now has 6500 K bulbs (Iwasaki) and the VHO actinics of course.
