Went to Florida. :) In DC for trauma starting next month.

DC is much closer but I still don't know if I will make it back. I was hoping for Miami tix this year with OSU but didn't. So it looks like I'm going to miss the football season too!

I've never been to a frag swap before - how does this work? I assume items are for sale, and not just trade? Are there fish & inverts (I know there are retail vendors there too), or mostly just coral? Do we bring our own water/bags/containers, or can we just buy bags of stuff from most of the exhibitors? Sorry about all the newbie questions, I set up a new tank a few months ago, & am looking some good beginner-friendly stuff to stock it with, & this sounds like a great event!

Great questions.

Yes things are for sale also You can check fragswapper.com for current items listed. Bring a cooler or cooler type lunch bag to hold what you buy. Have heat packs incase the temps are not friendly.

Fish Sometimes you will see clown fish but this is mostly corals. If they brought it they should have brought something to put it in to sell so you as a buyer do not need to worry about that.

Study up on dipping and QT methods. Learn this now. You do not want to wait till you catch something.

Only a few weeks away now. There are definitely going to be some very happy tanks when this one is in the books.

Never tried it but it looks like My Home, then My Profile should be the place to make the change...

Thanks, I'll give it a shot. You used to have to e-mail the administrator...but I couldn't remember who that was. ;)

Getting real close to the day now. Is everybody ready?

Raffle?

When does the raffle occur? I usually get there early, hit the LFS and head the 2 hrs back home.
