i have a 20g custom acrylic w/ external overflow softie that i'm setting up with a few leathers, photo gorgs and zoanthids, and i was contemplating putting 2 searhorses in there... they need less flow. it's not a definite decision, i already have the coral, not the seahorses, so that's my first priority.

how would these coral stand up to being in a slower 5-8x turnover tank as opposed to more flow? also, with the temp being a little lower, like 74-75 ish?

12 zoanthid sp.
1 palythoa sp.
2 sinularia (colt/pulsing)
1 yellow sarcophyton
1 pink toadstool
3 gorgonian sp. (photosynthetic)
1 gsp colony
1 featherduster

just curious! thanks!

I would be hesitant to put the sinularia, gorgonians, and yellow sarcophyton with that low of flow, esp. the yellow sarco as they generally come from shallow, more dynamic waters. The zoas, palythoa, gsp, and feather dusters should be fine I think. The gorgonians Might do alright if they are truely photosynthetic, but they still usually like a decent amount of flow.
