220 gallon lighting question

I am debating on upgrading to a 180 gallon 72X24X24 or a 220 gallon 72X24X30. I am worried about the lighting requirements in a 30" tall tank vs the 24" tall tank. I want to place 2 250w Reeflux on the sides in Lumenarc stealth reflectors and 1 400w Reeflux 10k in the center with a Lumenarc 3 reflector. My question is if this is going to be a SPS dominate tank with a 3-4 inch sand bed am I going to have enough lighting for a 30" deep tank or should I go with the 24" tank instead?

I will probably not put SPS all the way at the bottom of the tank but do you think it would be possible?

I think you fine, just dont put any light light SPS on the lower half of the tank... 250w still able to hit the bottom...

Do you mean light color sps?

i meant low light req's on the lower half of your tank... sorry, Im half asleep.
