250 Watt Ice Cap MH ballast work with Iwasaki 6500k Bulb?

I would like to get the Iwasaki 6500K bulb for the growth it produces but I am not sure if my ballast will work. If not I might get the XM 10k or the Reeflux 10k. Any suggestions on these?

I have the old icecap 250 ballasts and they ran the Iwasaki's, still yellow in color but they burned just fine. When it came time to replace them I went with the XM 10k.

Do you use the Iwasaki 6500k? I really want high growth but I am not sure about the color. For the time being I woulf have MH only and in the future add some T5 HO actinics for supplements.

How is your growth with this bulb?

No, I just happen to have one because I have some older ballasts I got as a part of a package and that seems to be all they will fire.

It's yellow, but with some actinic PC it isn't unbearable, I prefer 12k bulbs myself though, can;t comment on growth sorry.
