250w hqi.....10k? 14k? 20K

I am upgrading my lights to 3-250w hqi's. This will be for a standard 240g. The units are a couple months old. I am gonna be hanging the lights from the ceiling so I do not want to use actinics. What can I get away with? Will I need to run 20k's? If so.....cool, that's what they come with. I would like to grow mostly lps, but I want some sps like superman danae, blue torts, and a few clams. Any suggestions? This is gonna be my focal point in my living room and my wife has put the pressure on to make it look gorgeous or else. Like I said, I want to grow corals, as well as bring out the gorgeous colors.

A ton of people run the 14K Phoenix bulbs because they don't need actinics and the bulbs have way better PAR than any other 20K or 14K bulb. I would think that would be a good choice for you.
