29 Gal overflow rate?

I am looking to purchase a pre made overflow skimmer for a 29 gal long tank. First question is what would be the proper flow rate and is more better? Most models I have looked at are made for 55 gal or larger and seem to have a large footprint within the tank, any body know of one more suited to a 29 gal size tank?
appreciate your advise.
Greg

maybe something like that and then reduce it down to slow the flow through it?

DON'T BUY THOSE OVERFLOWS!!! Absolute crap...........made out of 1/16th acrylic..............thing practically broke by me looking at it too hard..........Cost me $18 in shipping to get this piece of crap & send it back........JMO

I was going more for the generic size. I wasn't telling him to go buy it.

Greg, i've seen one you have listed.....it's a good setup to allow flow to restart (doesn't allow air in to break siphon)

i'm using a mag3 on a 29g. the overflow i use has a 1" bulkhead and that can handle way more flow than i'm sending it. it's pretty quite with the lower flow and i supplement internal flow w/ 3 powerheads.

you can see the size of my overflow box here...

...although i will soon be drilling the back of the tank and putting in an internal overflow box w/ two 1" bulkheads.
