3 new flordia rics

this is a blue flordia ric that i got for $15 only

this is a nice orange flordia ricordia that was ony 15 dollars also

and this i guess u can call it green flordia ric i got for 15 also along with that zoo for 15 very cheap prices how far apart should i space them and how quickly be4 they spread or split should i split them myself??

Nice buys. You can put the rics right up against each other (probably not the zoos). As far as them splitting, just depends not only on your water quality, feeding, lighting but also on the individual ricordia. I have some with many mouths that I got not a month ago that have already slit and I have some with several mouths that I have had since Sept 06 that refuse to split.

I also have had the same experience as FLricordia. Some of mine have split 3 or 4 times in 6 months and others havent grown hardly at all and show no signs of splitting. It just depends on each individual ric. In my limited experience the orange ones and green ones seem to grow and split the fastess.

If you want to induce higher growth rates you can try feeding them. You can also force the issue and propagate them, but I'd give them a couple months to get perfectly happy before you do so, just as a precaution.
