30 days policy

To the person that answer this forum or Marine Depot management:

I placed an order with Marine Depot June 17 delivered on June 24 and one product (a 350w heater) broke on July 17 and I was told by your company that I could not return the heater for a refund because more than 30 days have passed. Well, the order was placed on June 17 however I only received it June 24. Therefore I didn't have the heater for 30 days when it broke. Definitely not what I expect from a company that I have spent tons of money with.

I placed another order on July 7, close to $400 worth of products. No need to say this is probably the last time I order from Marine Depot. There were several items out-of-stock, and a confusion on your part about my credit card, this order will be delivered only on Monday July 21.

I want a clarification on how long is my warranty on the products I will receive July 21. It is not acceptable that the 30-days policy starts when the order is placed. Especially considering that your company took/takes too long to process my order.

Almost all orders received before 2PM PST/5PM EST should ship out the same day. Usually, the only reason it would not is for payment reasons, security reasons, or out of stock reasons.

There must be some sort of misunderstanding about the the return. It would be 30 days from the receipt of the product. Furthermore, we are almost always flexible with that. Couple days here and there is not an issue.

I saw your other post. I think one of the guys here is working on this for you via PM. I'll let him make this right for you.

Lastly, whether you spend 1 cent or $20,000 with us, you will always be treated with courtesy, respect, and good customer service. If not, demand to talk to a manager. As long as you are not cussing the manager out, I've seen my managers bend over backwards for people. All my collegues here do our best. If you are not happy with anybody in particular, I'm certain somebody else, including me :), can take make you a happy camper.

Part of the problem with your order involved the credit card and that is private information. Please contact us in private for clarification.

Let me know who you spoke with, and I will absolutely get to the bottom of this for you.
