Getting quotes on a new display tank. Looking for a 60x48x26 with eurobracing and external overflows. What do you think??

I'm a big glass fan because of how easy acrylic scratches, but for that volume I would trust acrylic... anything getting tweaked and causing a glass panel to break = very dangerous

GLASS! I agree with Nanook...regular float is fine. Acrylic will drive you nuts with scratches.

Yeah, you're prob right but it's only the front panel to worry about. Is an in wall display. Is it a pain to buff it out?

Thanks for ur inputs. Pretty sure it's gonna be acrylic. Emailed a bunch of places and the thought of having to heave a 750# glass tank at a price of almost $5,000 kinda losses it's appeal.

Acrylic weighs less is just as strong and I'm getting quotes in the $3,000 range. More reasonable.

Any idea how thick the acrylic is they use? 3/4" maybe? Just been corresponding via email. Will have to give them a jingle next week and ask them for sure. Thanks.
