Hey guys, I have 37 Bandensis Hatchlings on my hands. Their about no more than a week old. I usually post ceph stuff on tonmo but I'm waiting to recieve a reset/password through email (taking a while). Anyways if interested, feel free to send me a post. I'll be wanting them out of the house in a month or so. lol

I'll post some pics hopefully tonight.

Thanks

Jesus, I would want them out tomorrow. How are you feeding that many hatchlings?

I just ordered 1000 mysis, and cried. It's only enouph to last, like 2-3 weeks at best. Tell your friends to buy a cuttle? I don't know. Any idead on or at what age i should seperate these guys. Right now all of them are in 2 net bredders attached together. I was thinking of getting 2 more breeder net/ boxes as splitting 10 in each, about.

You'll want to break it down to less than that per net breader soon, or you'll experience a bunch of canibalism. I will post a link on tonmo to this thread for you, I was not planning on being ready for cuttles this soon, actually I was planning on waiting about another 4 months, but let me do some research and I may get some from you. Please PM me with how much you are looking for per cuttle, where you are in MD (do you know Mr. Coral/how close are you to it?), and how much it would be (estimate) to ship to 20171?

Thanks

I have about 50 at work that have been in the same 5 gallon tank for 1.5 months. They only go cannibalistic if you don't feed them enough.

Yea, The 37 cuttles are in 4 breeder net boxes floating a 29gal refugium, about 10 per box. Once their about a month old or so I was going to let them all go free into either the refugium themselves where there is plenty of amphiopods to eat incase they don't get a mysis shrimp or plumb in a 10gallon to the system (thinking it would be easier to see who's eating well, this way).

I was actually in Mr. Corals today, I work next door to him. I did mention to Sunny that I had the cuttles. I wouldn't say I "know him" or that he "knows me". I don't buy alot from the LFS anymore, I usually deal with the small circle of local hobbyist that I trade or buy from, they know him though :)

No I'm not a member, Just never got to applying, as well as busy graduationg (was...finished my degree this past may)... and a single father with alot of other hobbies. Anyways I'll PM you. I don't know if reefcentral wants us dealing directly through forum posts.

Being Hatchlings, i cannot give any Guarantees on these already very Fragile Cephlopods. I am in Maryland. Use Zip 21701, Useing FedEx Priority overnight to get a shipping quote off of Fed Ex's webpage. Package will weigh about 10-13 lbs/per cuttle.

If you are near Frederick, I don't mind meeting to save on shipping costs, and prevent shipping stress.
