how much lighting are you lookign for? what are the dementions of the tank? how much are you looking to spend? WHat ype of lighting?
If you are looking for somethign new, JP from justphish.com is having some amazing CTARS deals, but youll have to get them quick

I would do a single 250 hqi (phoenix 14k) endant a bit higher than normal for more spread... if you want to be able to keep anything that is... SPS in the middle, softies off to the sides. I love T5s, but they will be considerably more expensive to get equivalent light over that sized tank.

I don't think he would want to pay for an HQI 250 single. I think hes just like for maybe a 50/50, day actinic, he needs to figure out what he wants to do in the tank
