Hi,

I'm Sebastian from Duesseldorf, Germany and I would like to share my small reeftank with you. It's a 75x45x45cm (~29x18x18") Optiwhite pooltank made by ADA which has no sump.

Lighting:
ATI Hybrid 1x75W LED + 4x24W T5 (2x Coralplus, 1x Blueplus, 1x Actinic)

Flow
1x Ecotech Vortech MP10

Filtration
Deltec MCE300 Hangon Skimmer

Dosometric pumps for ATI Essentials
ATI DP6

I moved in May and then went on holiday for 10 days. I was able to leave the tank in my old apartment for a transition period and let a good friend look after my tank. Unfortunately 5 days after I left the skimmer fall out. I wasn't very afraid because the MP10 would have lasted for the oxygen import... Well that didn't went as expected. Apparently also the MP10 had a malfunction. Within 3 days the tank collapsed. All fish died due to that my friend didn't want to ruin my trip. I was able to save 60% of all corals. All LPS an my T. crocea survived the toxic sludge. I can tell you the smell was nasty.

So I had to completely restart the tank in my new apartment and upgraded my Giesemann Infiniti to a ATI Hybrid 1x75W LED

This is how my setup looked like at first:

Then my corals which I could store in a friends frag tank moved in and I started dosing the ATI Essentials beginning with 20ml a day.

2 weeks later I added the first SPS

Some fish moved in:
- a couple of bangai cardinals
- white banded cleaner shrimp
- Amblyeleotris aurora with Alpheus bellulus
- Stenopus hispidus

I would like to get some more fish but I have no clue which species is ok with the current fish concerning aggressiveness and appropriateness. Do you have any recommendation?

Hi,

yesterday I got a pair of Orchid dottybacks. Interesting little guys but by now the live very hidden in the reef. They just leave the reef for feeding.

Viele Grüße

Sebastian

Hey,

some weeks ago I removed the bold A. valida block on the left side. I think it looks way more clean now.
