4 mouthed Ricordia mushroom

So I've had this one Ricordia mushroom for about 2 months now and when I first bought it, it had 2 mouths. It gained its 3rd mouth about a month ago and I noticed its 4th one this afternoon. Do Ricordia mushrooms generally reproduce asexually via budding off from the foot or splitting one mouth into 2 mouths? Is this a good sign of its health? I don't have much experience with ricordias as I've only been a reef aquarist for almost 2 years now. I've never seen so much activity from one ricordia mushroom let alone mushrooms in general in 2 months time.

ricordea florida (split by mouth)

ricordea yuma (budding off the foot)

to tell the difference, yuma has the little bumps on/around their mouth, while the florida doesn't.

Why? Shouldn't I wait a little while for it to get used to my tank? Is there a quick rebound time for propagating a Ricordia florida?

Do you place them in a cup with rubble after they've been cut? I forgot to mention that I just recently attached this mushroom we're talking about to a new rock. Won't the mushroom be even more stressed if I remove it since I just reattached it?
