400 gal aquarium

i would like to build my own 400 gallon aquarium out of starfire glass as leemar will not make it in the size I am looking at does anyone know where to start looking on how to do this?

lots of 3/4" glass,

my buddy just built his own (96x36x30) closer to 450 gal...

it was not a very easy build as the glass weighs a tonne...he built the tank on the stand...then we had to lift the tank to get the foam under it...it was a serious PITA...

not sure where to point you to such a big build though...i am sure someone with more big tank experience will chime in...

i a pretty sure you want to use Dow Corning 995 silicone though you can find it online..

Maybe there is a problem with your dimensions. It seems strange that a tank mfg would turn you down. What size are you thinking?

the tank is 72x36x24 the other one is 72x36x36
