40B mantis reef

The fallow period is over tomorrow but idk if I'll get another fish. I am building an intank refugium to help with nutrients as my nitrates won't get below ten and I like macros so I may end up putting some macros in the display. Would it be to stressful for the mantis if I rescaped the tank in to a two island style scape? My current scape doesn't allow much flow.
I have some pics I'll post later

The mantis is molting and I think it is going poorly, he is in a darkened swim through and he is laying on his back, flapping his swimmer things. Is there anything I can do to help?

The mantis is acting normal again, and my Pygmy angel is becoming much less shy. I just left the lfs with some rasta zoas for much less than expected and some dragons breath macro algae. Also, if there is anyone near Bowling green KY then go check out the micro mantis in the frag tank. I would've grabbed it but I don't have a tank open

Ok, big update. After getting home from my 18 day marine biology camp, both of my lps corals are dead. After seeing that and thinking about where I wanted this tank to go, I am making a smaller aio for the current mantis and making this tank into a Caribbean biotope. The mantis will probably be N. oerstedii and I might get a foureye or long nose butterfly fish for my second and final fish. The current mantis and fish are doing great as are my softies. I have the nitrates under control (40 ppm nitrates when I got home) and the tank is doing well right now

I thought I would give you guys a final update on this thread before I let it die, I have decided to change where I am going with this tank. Friday I will be getting a lionfish and hope to end up with three. The corals are all doing well and I may eventually get another mantis but I don't have time for two tanks as well as marching band(no free time). Thanks for giving me great advice guys.
