40W enough to prop softies and maybe LPS?

Was thinking about setting up a little nano for propagation purposes.

It'd be a standard 10G tank, would a 40W Current fixture be enough to grow some xenia, leathers, and maybe frogspawn/hammer?

Would growth differences be noticeable between 40W and something like a 96W Coralife fixture? I already have the 40W fixture and would like to be able to save some money by using it.

i think that a 40w would work but if you can i would go with the 96 so you can get some higher light corals if you want later on
