6100 Placement ? 48x36x27

How should I set up my streams in my tank? It is 48x36 and has overflows in both corners. I am not going to rely on the return for any flow so how should I set up the four 6100s and what controller settings should I use?

Thanks,
Joe

Joe, i would do 1 at each corner and set the controller on interval II. Check out this plan and let me know what you think.

Lets pretent the back left corner is pump 1, front left is pump 2, front right is pump 3 and back right corner is pump 4. All pumps will point across the tank. pump 1 and 3 will be on channel 1 and pump 2 and 4 will be on channel 2. You will have a circular motion in your tank back and forth everytime your controller change from channel 1 to channel 2....

Thanks for the feedback. My only concern is I really did not want a pump in the front left corner. The tank will be viewable from the left and front so I would like to avoid that as mush as possible.

I still may try what you are proposing and see how I like it, but got any other suggestions?

I think Steve meant each rear corner. That is the position I see most Tunze's in tanks.

I have four 6100s. He suggested one each each of the four corners with the left front and right rear on at the same time, and then the left rear and right front on at the same time.

Placement of the pumps pretty much a personal reference. You need to play around with it till you are happy with the placement as well as setting. My recommendation is base on what i have done in the past and it work fair well but it doesn't look nice because you have will the pump at the front.
