Hey guys I've had my tank running 2 months.. My cuc and 2 clowns have been doing great! I've done a lot of research yes this is my first post but I've spent hundreds of hours on google before I purchased the tank.. Maybe too much searching which is now giving me second thoughts about what to add next?

Currently own 2 ocellaris clowns..

I would like:
-Coral beauty angel
-Royal gramma- more I research these guys are hit and miss can be very aggressive or hide a lot? Not sure if I should try it?
-Wrasse- possible 6 line (read they can be aggressive) suggestions on a wrasse that pops that's peaceful?
-1 cardinal banggai
-One spot fox face- yes I know about the venom but there awesome looking
-and maybe 2-3 green chromis to school

I love hawk fish but I would like to keep a scarlet skunk shrimp

Any insight would be appreciated. I do have glass tops but the front are kept open to avoid the tank getting hotter.

I'm fairly new as well but 2 things I know, your chromis will most likely just kill each other until only one is left (mine did and I've read alot from others that this is very common). Also the foxface is probably pushing it size wise for a 65 gallon.

Yeah I know due to space restrictions I went with a drilled 65 tall. Now that it's all set up I'm wishing I started with a 90 but guess that's how it goes.. Just excited to have her up and running :)

By 65 tall I assume you mean a 36"x18"x24"? If so I have the same tank.

Heres what I have in my tank, just for reference -

1 blue reef chromis
2 ocellaris clowns
1 firefish
1 yellow clown goby
1 royal gramma
1 pink spot goby
1 pigmy angel
1 fire shrimp
1 cleaner shrimp
and my CUC & misc soft corals

With my 65 I found it better to go with small species, it gives more life, color, and diversity to the tank than only having a couple larger fish.

Check this thread out, it has good info on stocking do's and don'ts

Wow thanks apex might have to copy that stock list very similar to what I want to achieve. I love that Pigmy angel having a hard time between that or a coral beauty.. Any issues with your royal gramma? Thanks for the link

thanks for the input.. unfortunately I added a coral beauty and it didnt last more than 2 days.. I ended up finding a flame angel on craigslist and after a week its great eats everything (flakes, frozen, pellets and cleaned all the algae off the back glass haha)

looking to possibly add a royal gramma soon.. should I wait and add this fish last hear they can be pretty agressive
