7095 controller setting help

Alright, I have two tunze 6000 streams and a 7095 controller and I can not figure out how to get it to pulse opposite eachother (one on each end of the tank) and then when they go into night mode for both to drop to there lowest setting.

Here is how I have it set up now:

port 1.1 1 turbelle stream 6000 in far end of tank
port 2.1 1 turbelle stream 6000 in near end of tank

top left knob set at 100%
bottom left set at 30%
top right set at 30%
bottom right set at 100%

Now this pulses fine, opposite eachother, however when it goes night mode one runs at 100% all night and one at 30% all night. When what I want is on at night both at 30%.

Thanks

But then don't both pulse on at 100% at the same time then both down to 30% at the same time? I thought I tried that..... I want one on at 100% and the other on at 30% then swith..... then in night mode both to be at 30%......

like this...
Pulse A ....
1) 100%
2) 30%

Pulse B.....
1) 30%
2) 100%

Night......
1) 30%
2) 30%

Thanks

I don't have the user manual in front of me so don't hold me to it, I believe you will need to set the mode to interval-2 and set what every interval timing you need to set, and drop the top dials at 100% and bottom dials at 30%,

This will give you a pattern like this.....

Say you set the interval time to 30 secs....

First thirty seconds

Channel one will pulse between 30 and 100, while channel two will be steady at 30%

Second thirty seconds

Channel two will pulse between 30 and 100%, while channel one will be steady at 30%

and at night both will be at 30%, this is probably the closest you can get to what you are looking for....

Set pulse time to 6 sec and interval time to 6 sec you ar looking at what you wanted but I don't know if it has any bad effects on the pump or controller.....

I think the answer your looking for is that the bottom two dials control night mode so set both of those to 30% & set the top two to what you would like for day mode.

7095 confusion

7095 confusion

I'm having the same problem with my new 600 strem kit. i can't understand the instructions so i guess i wil have to experiment for a while. i wish someone could write some simpified diretions.

Well, I co wrote the directions, given the huge variety of possibilities I don't know that it could be much simpler. If you know what you want it to do I may be able to help you better.

No need to apologize, I am not perfect and frankly always was a B student at best in English but I think given how technical the equipment is it is not easy to write a manual that covers everything it can do and then make it simple to understand. They send me the manual roughly translated and I smooth out the English but I also have to respect that British English is the dominant form of English worldwide so somethings I have to leave in British when it sounds funny for an American, words like earthed instead of grounded for example. We tried to include some examples this time around to help. Amuruges explained it pretty well though and his solution is the closest possibility, though honestly I would probably set it up like you had wanted and just let it run at 30% on one channel and 100% on the other in night mode, this still simulates the calmer night sea and without the draw back of lowered gas exchange when CO2 is most likely to build up.

Thanks for taking the time to help. most companies do not have any kind of customer support. I have one stream 6000 running at 30% on channel2 and the other at 100% on channel1 they are running on interval 1 mode right now. they are alternating on an interval of 30 secs which is what i want. the only problem is that when night mode is set on, the one running at 100% on channel 1 does not go to min or 30% which is what it is supposed to do (I think). The manual says that night mode will work with any setting so i tried Interval 2 and pulse and night mode does not work with either of these. I will try to post a picture of my controller in operation so you can see for yourself.

What you need to do is enable the pulse mode by setting a pulse time and setting the bottom knobs to 30%, then during the day they will pulse at 100%/30% at the number of seconds you set and still switch pumps every 30 seconds but at night they will spin at the bottom knob setting of 30%.

thanks everyone. it is now working just fine. after reading the instructions over and over I did nt realize that the bottom knobs were for night mode. It seemeed that each knob was the control for each channel (4 channels + 4 knobs).
