75 Tenecor Build

David, Very nice project, sounds like you've been busy a few nights, Finally it paid off! tank looks great, this will be a good time to determine what to bring in this new tank from the nano and what not to bring.
From experience those toadstools grow even bigger and eventually you will have the same issue in your new tank, also, the green star polyps should be segregated in a small island in the sand otherwise it will take over the entire rock formation and it will kill and/or cover any coral in it way.
Good luck

Rogger

Thanks Rogger, I really love the toadstool but it grows fast and blocks the light of anything below it. the same with the GSP i had to cut back a lot of it as it consumed some of my zooanthids.

This is what the nano looked like at about a year old.

Where did you get the MH reflectors?
They are not that wide which good it allows you to fit two T5 on each side. I just purchased IC 660 for 4 x T5 and not sure if to go ahead and order another or set it up just like yours, best of both worlds T5 and MH. Really nice build keep us updated.

David it looks great what u did to that tank, the buffing really came out nice. I see you put a lot of work into that tank. I thought I was bad.

Finally broke down the nano and took out the arogocrete. My aquascaping skills still leave a lot to be desired but i think it looks better. What do you think?

After i get the Viaqua 18 cleaned up i'll be selling it along with the hood and whatever else i won't need anymore.
Anyone need about 80lbs of arogocrete? Could be used for base rock. How's $1.00 a pound?

the new rock work looks 20x better than the previous stuff.

nice job and the light setup is really cool

After a couple of months i have a few updated pics and some new additions.
I acquired my first SPS corals and so far they are looking healthy.

The right side of the tank is a litte stark but i hope to fill it out with some more SPS in the future.
