80 gallon build!!!!!

so decided to upgrade my 55g here is the progress of the 80 gallon build been lots of fun


the first step


frame all built


all painted


building the shell


time for some doors


did some testing in the mean time


sump baffles going in


a little family fun painting the stand and the back of tank


about 8-10 light coats


more testing!!!

new sump all set up


rewiring the Neptune apex love this system


80 gal with 40 gal sump back up and running total of 7 hours from start to finish of breaking down 55gal

back up and running after a lot of work

took a lot but got it all done in 7 hours then finished the aquascape the following morning after all the sand settled and I could see again thanks for looking not looking forward to upgrading ever again lol but it was deff fun!!!

Looking good seeing your Mandarin make me miss mine! I also like hoe you plumed the return in your fuge versus just flowing over to the return pump. Any thoughts on that?
