A Dumb Mistake...

Ok, so yesterday I was killing some apitasia w/ Joe's Juice and some of it fell into the candycane coral. Today I noticed some slight tissue loss, but nothing drastic. Is this serious or no big deal?

Not a big deal. When that happens blow it off with current from your hand and there should be no residual effect.

It will burn it in that spot, but it should recover. Good luck!

I had some doo doo brown palys that wanted to take over the world.. dosed them with joes juice directly.. they closed up, most of them went away, but some were very stubborn and required a second dose..

joes juice is pretty reef safe.. however, it can be used to kill corals, or kill corals by accident..

just throwin that out there..

When I am trying rid myself of undesirables, I use kalk paste. Sometimes requires multiple doses.

Thanks for the replies. As of this evening it looks like one head is dead and two others are damaged, however it looks likes the damged ones will recover. I'll have to be more careful next time...
