A Lot of high End Acropora For Sale

DISCLAIMER: Just a few hours ago while making this post I discovered that I have Acro Eating Flatworms. What that means is that you should treat my corals as if you got them from your LFS. I will be trying to trim down my collection so that I can better battle these guys.

Most of the corals mentioned below will be 1" frags, I do fresh cuts mostly, for smaller or larger frags please contact me directly via PM.

lol @ these prices with aefw
he's honest enough to tell you they're in his system, you think you can show a little respect! He's not selling colonies where the aefw and eggs are coming in on the bases and whatever they're mounted on. He's posted they're fresh cuts where they'll be no adults or eggs. Look at Nicks corals guys, he's obviously doing something very right here and I appreciate the disclosure more then you know. These posts complaining of pricing don't belong here based on RC rules and what should be a sense of decency. Nick, your corals are beautiful!

You guys should appreciate the honesty and don't purchase if you don't like the prices...honestly you should treat every new coral (no matter the origin) as if it has aefw.

Yea sorry I didn't mean to sound harsh, I was just saying how I would sell them much less if I had aefw. ( knock on wood )

Everyone in this thread has a valid point.

But the most important thing is if you don't like the prices just move on. This is what the seller feels they're worth. That's how individual sellers are. You can get the same coral from several known people here and pay wildly varying prices. That's just how the hobby is.

I bought 5 frags from him 5 months ago they all grow up n healthy. I dip every corals and quarantine them for a month then i consider put it in the display or frag tank. If u have a solid quarantine procedure u shouldnt have to worry.

Agreed.

A small note on that -- I dip in Bayer, always have. It's effective against everything except AEFW. I ended up with some mild AEFW, and tested bayer side by side with melafix -- Melafix killed the AEFW, Bayer didn't in a dip that lasted 3x longer than the melafix dip.

So even if you're dipping religiously, if you KNOW the coral has AEFW, or if you're just worried about AEFW in general, dip with Melafix. It works faster than Bayer, it's gentle on corals, and it's very hard on any and all inverts, including AEFW.

This goes for you too macdaddynick1 -- Melafix is outstanding. If you're looking for an effective new dip give it a shot.

I had the same problem with Bayer in my quarantine tank, I have not tried Melafix, but I do use a very strong dose of Coral RX Pro. I also do not like Bayer because you cannot see the pest in the milky water like you can in Clear Dip. I also always recommend dipping in a White container as it is easier to see the pest.

I dip every coral and go as far as cutting the base off if coral not coming from a very trusted source. Then they go in Coral Quarantine 90 gallon for a couple months to adjust to LED lights and make sure they are growing and healthy before they go in the 400.

I did have an outbreak of AEFW a few years back and I tried dipping, but ultimately had to clean all the SPS out of the tank for 6 months. I feel your frustration and beautiful corals!

I will PM you a list of a couple I would like to get chunky fresh cut frags of.
