Acan Frag question

I bought an Acan frag (on a round racket ball sized rock)and the frag is covering most of the rock that its on. If I glue a flat rock the area where the acn has yet to grow, will the acan eventually spread over to the flat rock as well? Any idea on grow rates for these corals?

it should eventually grow to the rock and they grow quick about 1 new polyp every 2-3 weeks if properly fed
