Acan vs. Blastomussa vs. Micromussa

How does one tell them apart? I recived a coral from a friend who was tearing down their tank and they were unsure of what it is. I don't have any pics yet, but was hoping that there may be a thread, article, or description of what the differences are.

I know this is more of a long shot but I thought I would start here.

have you ever checked out an online store to see the different pictures of the corals? micro's and acan's can be similar but the acan's have larger polyps in most cases. I would highly recommend looking at the divers den seciton of Dr's Foster & Smith or the LPS section of Atlantis Aquarium.Net as they usually have a good variety of corals where you can actually see the difference.

Yeah Acan's and Micro's look the same except the micro's are a lot smaller. The blastos look way different you can tell them apart from the acan's and micros
