Acan's best in sand bed

Are Acan's best in the sand bed? I kinda want to move it because my diamond watchman goby seems to be on a mission to get it covered with sand lol. Ugh

No, new pups will choke on the sand, get them on a flat piece of rock. Also note that it's harder to grow skeleton than tissue, being on the sand will slow growth rates

I have mine at the very top of my rocks, about eight or nine inches under the lights

I have them on rocks and sand bed but it's a really shallow tank. They look great in both places.
