Acans,not eating and loss of tissue

Was wondering has others might have scene any of this.Where corals were eating,then no desire to eat,and loss of tissue?Tank perimeters are in check.In anyway is there a direct link to bacterial infection in anyway?If so what was done to over come this,to get them back on track?If so what was used,and how often?Like to hear what other,might went threw also.And is this possible a common thing to see with Acans with new arrivals.Just looking for a cure,being it doesn't seem to be tank related at this time?Could a bacterial infection even occur during shipping,being cuts were made.It does make sense,but would like to hear other findings on this same matter.

You were feeding this before and now it's declining? Or is this a new arrival? What reason would you have for suspecting a bacterial infection? I'm confused, very confused.

Yes they were feeding before,and eating very well.The reason why I mentioned a bacterial infection is tank readings have been rock solid.So it coral stop eating,and pull away.And makes you wonder "if" it's not more a bacteria that's taken place.I'm not saying it's the same thing as we see with Elegance corals.But that's what seems to be take them down.A bacterial infection here.I would thing any type of LPS coral,can get bacterial infections.More so I would think if they been cut,where the tissue has been exposed.And infection can take place.Again I'm not sure if this is right or wrong,as for bacterial infection?Just wondering has others scene this take place,and what cure was done?But these are fairly new corals that were added.And now they stopped,and tissue is being pulled away.

Mine did that when they were in too much direct water flow. The next thing was that I could start to see the connecting tissue around the polyps and then the polyps started shredding off. When I moved it, the polpys that hadn't started shedding were fine.

Thanks for your reply here.I even sent this info on to Jendub also.Being she has a lot input about keeping and raising Acans.But any info here is surely welcome here,for this strange mystery that's take place.
